Houston County Warrant Records Requests
The Sheriff's Warrants & Records division processes public requests for report copies and open-records requests forwarded through Sheriff's Office administration. Georgia's Open Records Act and O.C.G.A. 50-18-71 support public inspection and copying unless a law or court order restricts access. That rule does not make every warrant detail public while service, investigation, juvenile, sealed, or victim-sensitive issues are active.
