Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court and agency records, but access depends on which office created the file. In Houston County, the Superior Court Clerk handles Superior Court records such as felony, divorce, equity, title-to-land, and broad civil filings. The State Court Clerk maintains traffic, misdemeanor, and certain civil records. Probate Court handles estates, guardianships, marriage licenses, vital records, weapons carry licenses, and some mental-health proceedings. The Sheriff's Office manages jail, warrants, reports, and criminal-history services. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
